However, I didn't have a depth of knowledge over what I was doing exactly and found enough IOS config examples to make it work. In the past, I have setup L2TP over IPSEC on an ASA before and connected to it using the Mac client. My Mac only has L2TP over IPSEC, Cisco IPSEC, or IKEv2. If I set up a "Group Tunnel" (so that several clients can connect to the gateway simultaneously), the "keying mode" option is "IKE with Preshared Key". As far as using the Cisco VPN clients, they either don't support the RV325 (An圜onnect) or no longer are supported by Cisco (EasyVPN), or I just can't find them (Cisco VPN Client Utility). I have messed with the VPN settings that make sense to me and at this point, I can't find anything that will work. I have a MacBook Pro running masOS Sierra and I'd like to VPN into my home when I'm not here (I know I can't VPN in when I'm here because of the hair-pinning). I have a static IP, I have a RV325 assigned the static IP and the gateway is online with some basic configuration and all that basic jazz.
